DRK32 - Double-Walled Pipe System

Transfer of DRK32 Ownership to Mr. Hermann Niedermayer

After much deliberation, the Gardner Denver Thomas GmbH has decided to leave the property rights of DRK32 construction. End of 2011 these were transferred to Mr. Hermann Niedermayer.

Light of our decision was the knowledge from past experience that a successful survival of the pipe system beyond the year 2013 requires more support and a review of the current approval. As a manufacturer of pumps and leak detectors we see the DRK in a better position when in the hands of a competent partner. We want to use our work to strengthen application-oriented optimization of our leak detectors.

The transfer was carried out with particular attention to the interests of the specialist companies to offer in the future a competitive product with the broadest scope to various application areas.

The existing license agreement with the known major licensees remains unchanged until the end of the current regulatory period (to May 2013).

Following this, new licensing procedures allow an easier and attractive access for qualified installers.

Mr. Niedermayer is already active coordinating the necessary improvements with the appropriate authorities and adressing the necessary actions.
